H3 Group Announces Sponsorship Agreement with Swansea and Civil Service Cricket Club
H3 Group is pleased to confirm a new sponsorship agreement with Swansea and Civil Service Cricket Club, supporting the formation and inaugural competitive season of the newly established club in 2026.
Swansea and Civil Service Cricket Club was formed in 2025 following the merger of Swansea Civil Service Cricket Club and Swansea Cricket Club, a strategic move prompted by the redevelopment of St Helens, which is transitioning to become the permanent home of a rugby club. The consolidation of cricketing activity ensures long-term sustainability for the sport in the city while bringing together over 250 years of combined cricketing heritage.
The club will be based at the Bishop Gore Playing Fields in Swansea, providing a central and inclusive facility to support cricket participation across all age groups and abilities.
This sponsorship further strengthens H3 Group’s long-standing relationship with cricket in Swansea, having supported the sport locally for more than 15 years. The partnership reflects the Group’s continued commitment to community engagement, youth development, and the sustainable growth of grassroots and competitive sport within the city.
A Club Built for Growth and Inclusion
Swansea and Civil Service Cricket Club will accommodate in excess of 150 players, offering a comprehensive playing and development structure that supports progression from junior to senior cricket. The club’s playing and development pathway includes:
- Five senior men’s teams, with the First XI competing in the South Wales Premier League Division 2
- A dedicated women’s team
- A full junior programme for boys and girls from Under-10 to Under-17
- An introductory Dynamos Cricket programme aimed at increasing participation at entry level
The structure has been designed to promote inclusivity, retention, and long-term player development while strengthening the club’s presence within the local community.
